Personality Type: What is Ambivert?

The first time I fully understand the words- introvert and extrovert was when I started to (self) study Psychographology or handwriting analysis.  In psychographology, those writing (slanting) toward left are introverts, while those inclined to write going to right direction are extroverts.  But what about individuals who write as if they’re using rulers because their letters are standing straight?  Apart from that, what if you have several traits that  apparently for both introvert and extrovert?  If you are like that, appear! We are the same—ambivert!

If you are Ambivert, what’s your personality?

According to dictionary.reference.com, ambivert is “one whose personality type is intermediate between extrovert and introvert.”

So para malaman naman natin ang ambivert, we need to know what is introversion and extroversion first.  Base sa psychology.about.com ang…

Extroversion is characterized by sociability, talkativeness, assertiveness and excitability.

“People who are high in extroversion tend to seek out social stimulation and opportunities to engage with others. These individuals are often described as being full of life, energy and positivity.”

Samantala …

Patalastas

“Introversion is one of the major personality traits identified in many theories of personality. People who are introverted tend to be inward turning, or focused more on internal thoughts, feelings and moods rather than seeking out external stimulation.”

Advantages, Disadvantages of ambivert people

Kung babalikan ulit natin ang pyschographology, (⇓ slant direction of handwriting)  isang cool reason  in knowing  your personality type is for your love life or finding mr./ms. right…

personality type, ambivert explanation chart

Mahalaga rin sa akin ang “me time,” but I also like to go out, attend seminars and events.

I think isa ito sa isyu, parang  napagkakamalan kang plastic, mapagpanggap or moody.

“Spending too much time with others can be a little draining, but spending a lot of time alone can leave you feeling gloomy and unproductive,” isa pang sign na binanggit ng Epoch.

‘Daniel Pink said that ambiverts “know when to speak up and when to shut up, when to inspect and when to respond, when to push and when to hold back.”’

“The ambivert advantage stems from the tendency to be assertive and enthusiastic enough to persuade and close, but at the same time, listening carefully to customers and avoiding the appearance of being overly confident or excited,” tsika pa ni Grant.

Importance of knowing your personality type

It just that it’s important  that you know your personality type so you’ll know your strengths and weaknesses, at the same time to relate to other people.  I don’t encourage you to become ambivert, but  instead be yourself.

First, he found that two-thirds of people don’t strongly identify as introverts or extroverts. These people (a.k.a., the vast majority of us) are called ambiverts, who have both introverted and extroverted tendencies. The direction ambiverts lean toward varies greatly, depending on the situation.

There are a lot of extroverts (apparently, the majority) that are not aware of what’s inside an introvert’s mind. Na madalas napagkakamalang mga suplado at suplada but the real thing is introverts just need the “reason” to communicate. Most of the introverts are living inside their head. They spend their time thinking about the things that matters to them. Social interactions drains them a lot.

Basically, whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert or anywhere in between, the important thing is we should be aware of other people’s personality type or temperaments. This way, we’ll be able to communicate our thoughts and feelings properly without offending the other party.

How I wish pinagaaralan sa mga schools to..

what those kind of people don’t know, introverts are great in in-depth analysis and innovations. They see what other can’t see because they don’t follow and allow outside noises to affect their thinking. JK Rowling, bill gates, and warren buffet are known introverts 😉
