What Your Clothing Color Reflects About You?

What’s your favorite color? Do you know your clothing color choice tells something about yourself or the aura you want to exude? I believe in these things. I sport red almost every Monday because according to my Chinese friends, it’s lucky. If I am going to a job interview or expect that I’ll be very busy at work, I like to wear blue outfits. Blue hues make me feel confident, presentable, and comfortable.  Ang weird lang because my favorites are silver gray, orange, and purple.  I wear these colors depending on my mood. So how about you what your favorite color to wear?

The psychology of my clothing color

Black makes you tough and seksi – ang una kong favorite color ay black. Up to now I keep my favorite black shirts that I use if I go and stay in the market (Hi Divisoria!), may long walk (Photowalk or Visita Iglesia), at malalayong travel. Sa fashion side, I also learned that black outfit can make me look slender and intelligent.

  • It also liberates me to don printed tops or i-highlight yung  part na suot ko.
  • Black tops also liberate me to become playful with the add-ons  such as colorful scarves, striking headdresses, and novelty accessories.
  • Black also makes feel safe If I have monthly period 🙂

Silver  exudes modern and sophistication. It’s my new favorite and alternative sa black. I wear it para hindi naman masyadong dark and stiff ang dating (boyish ako gumalaw e).  May dating itong maka- modern, and sophisticated depending on the style of the outfit or add-ons.  Ito ang gusto kong bagayan ng ilang fiery red, purple, orange, and other noticeable accessories.

White means clean and comfy. It is my other alternative sa black lalo na kung para sa travel kasi nagbibigay din ito ng comfy feeling.

Green shows growth and wealth. Do you know that the lucky color for this year is green? But before pa na ganito ay naka-green ako sa mga business dealings ko.  Effective!  Siguro suwerte nga at meaning nito ay wealth, growth, and harmony. May nabasa rin ako before na mas preferred ng karamihan ang blue and green kasi nagpapakita ng trustworthiness.

Orange exposes your joy and warmness – (Golden) orange is one of my favorite colors because I associate it with my being jolly, empowered, and warm. For me also, head-turner or noticeable agad ang taong may matingkad na kulay gaya ng orange. Like in marker/ highlighter colors na ipinanguguhit  natin sa kung alin ang dapat ang  importante. Yellow and Purple ang alternative ko rito.

Pink show you softness and gentle side – honestly, I don’t have many pink clothes because I associated it with being girly. But when I want to feel na “oh yes babae din pala ako” nagsusuot ako. Effective naman sa akin 😉

Patalastas

Brown is native and artistic I feel artistic and nature lover when I wear this hue.

Don’t let your color fades

When I started to appreciate other clothing color (from just black and navy blue), I feel like I become a colorful person too. Hindi man ako ganoon ka-fashionista, but colors make me feel the vibes I want to imbibe and embrace the confidence they bring.

But achieving something is not that easy-breezy din ha, especially sa dekolor na damit. When I say brown, green, blue, pink, violet, and red ay hindi naman ibig sabihin ay kahit anong brown, green, blue, pink, violet, and red. I like particular shades ng mga iyon na kapag nag-fade (mangupas) o mag-look old or pale nakaka- disappoint sa akin.

  • Wash it with care

Kaya I am particular sa laundry (hand wash is the best for me) and I follow yung ihiwalay sa dekolor sa puti  mula batya hanggang sampayan.

Product Review of Perwoll Liquid Detergent variants

  • Know the characters of your clothes’ fabrics

  • Know which better detergent for your particular clothes

Parehas kayo ng husband ko, he prefers doing the laundry by hand washing. Ang hirap kaya so what he usually do is ibabad muna ang damit. I let him do his laundry and just prepare the detergent soap. I like Perwoll Color! It made our clothes soft and smells great di sobrang matapang compared to leading fabcon. 🙂
