Online Selling is one of the business ideas that I’m promoting and I want to master.  Sana today mas better ako dati pero  naranasan ako na ito at pahapyaw-hapyaw kong nagagawa sa kasalukuyan.

1. Choose the items that you’re going to sell

Good thing na-inspire ako sa email ni Ms. Vanessa Cartera [former Senior Marketing Executive] ng Ayosdito.ph dahil mayroon s’yang ideas about Online selling. Ito ang mga ‘yon:

•  Gifts that  you can’t use because they don’t fit on you ( a nice shirt too small for you or shoes of the wrong size that were sent from abroad)
• Gifts that you can’t use  since you already have a lot of them (instead of recycling them, you can always sell them: candles, mugs, clocks,picture frames, pouches,bags)
•  Items that were replaced by new gifts received  (your old TV,stereo,discman,dvd player, oven can still be used by someone else)
• Holiday themed items that you purchased and won’t use again
• Old well –loved clothes and shoes (since you got new ones last Christmas)
•  Unused/ old furniture that are probably gathering dust in your bodega

Sa part ko nagawa ko na noon ang mag-benta ng mga second-hand books sa Recto Ave. (Manila).  Nakakatuwa ‘yon for  me kasi hindi ko naman na gagamitin ang book and at the same time, baka may isang tao especially student ang naghahanap din ng ganoong libro.  Pinaka-precious book na nabenta ko ay Divine Comedy: Inferno by Dante Alighieri na actually nabili ko rin doon.

Nagawa ko na rin magbenta ng second-hand gadgets like digital camera and mobile phone.

2. Learn basic Copywriting

For me, may mga tao talagang batikang copywriter.  Well, hindi naman natin kailangan sobrang bihasa pero at least we know the basic para above average ang ating magiging online ad and mas compelling. Ako bilang mamimili  panalo ang product description na na na-explain kaagad sa akin ang..

why i need this product?

is it safe to use?

 is it affordable?

Note: Di ako magaling sa aspect na ito at pinag-aaralan ko pa rin.

3. Know Internet Marketing strategy

Ang bigat ng term ano, Internet marketing daw?  Pero simple lang naman din ‘yan kung magiging open ka sa iba’t ibang way to promote your ad. Katunayan, free at common naman ang karamihan like the following:

• blog about what your sell – ahemmm mayroon kaya akong Hoshi’s Market page dito
• post ads in free advertising sites-  example? olx.ph
• share you ads in your social media accounts – facebook, twitter, pinterest, tumblr, instagram, at iba pa.

Siyempre may mas madedetalye at madugong part pa ang Digital Marketing na mas mai-explain ng mga business experts/ bloggers like my favorites Victorino Abrugar and Fitz Villafuerte.

‘Di ba hindi ka lamang enterprising pero matuto ka rin ng iba’t ibang creative and technical aspects sa  para maging thriving online seller.
