Movie Review: Fifty Shades of Grey

So what’s it’s like to watch Fifty Shades of Grey?  Well it’s intense, odd, whew, comparable and I appreciate even more Dakota Johnson.  Of course, Jamie Dornan is hot and I think director Sam Taylor-Johnson or the movie sticked with idea that it’s has to play safe in adapting  E.L. James’ bestselling novel.

I don’t know, but before or after the movie agree ako sa sinabi ni Ellen DeGeneres sa kanyang parody na ‘Hell No!’ kung ako o-offer-an ng ganung klaseng lifestyle.

Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele of Fifty Shades of Grey

As a woman and moviegoer, I appreciate Johnson’s courage to take this role. She’s not superb or perfect, but she interpreted Anastasia well . Geez, I agree with Taylor- Johnson’s comment about Dakota, she indeed bared her soul. Pero I respect Jamie Dornan if that his decision.

Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey of Fifty shades

Matagal na akong  nabigyan ng copy ng Fifty Shades of Grey, as in 2- years ago pa.  But hindi ko ito pinansin till napanood ko ang first trailer ng movie – also features Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Eloisa Mumford, Victor Rasuk, Dylan Neal, Max Martini, Callum Keith Rennie, Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Gay Harden, and Andrew Airlie. At oo, isa sa malaking factor doon ay dahil  naguwapuhan ako kay Jamie na dating Calvin Klein model and  The Fall actor.

Sa movie, bawas na ang pogi points niya sa akin, physically. pero I appreciate his intense acting as Christian. There’s something in his eyes that you feel he’s really the right Mr. Grey.

Sorry if I can’t give you comment about Johnson and Dornan’s acting, because what they did was not acting but demonstrating. And it’s hard to say na hindi sila effective kasi nga what they did is not mere S kundi demo of BDSM.  For me, you have to know the practice or appreciate it first before ka ma-L. Gets?

And it’s good thing that Dakota wasn’t that  perfect( she’s lovely for me) because somehow she/ the movie/ EL James –  indulge me to fantasize that somehow someone like Mr. Grey will also fall in love for someone like hitokirihoshi. chuz!

Fifty Shades of Grey: Movie vs Novel

You want intense and graphic? – NovelDSCF0067

You like fast/direct to the point explanation of BDSM? Movie

You have many queries?  Watch the film then read the Novel

Why watch the film then read the novel?  Please refer to second q and a

Novel or Movie?   I am bias; I am moviegoer than a book reader or audio listener. May I add that I hate comparing the original (book) and the adaptation (movie), so again I prefer to watch the film then read the book. Blehhhh!

E.L James : I am not a fan, but it’s cool that she somehow made  her erotic story  looked romantic one.

Sam Taylor Johnson: Next film please.

I respect those anti-50 shades. But for me I really don’t know this BDSM so it’s okay sa akin to watch this film (for adult only). For those telling that 50 shades doesn’t describe real BDSM – enlighten us by producing enticing novel and film. Yo!
