Do you ever feel that you have to run because you want something? Stretching your legs so you’ll be flexible and not fall down? However if you stumble, you’re conditioned that this run is the race you have to win? By the way, why are you running? Cowboy Grill to Cottolengo Filipino

On May 17, let your body, mind and spirit run for 3K, 5K or 10K — Pa-Run ng Cowboy is not your ordinary fun run. It’s an event where you can kick start your running career or exercise to lose weight and share your blessings to kids of Cottolengo Filipino. Cottelengo is a charity for abandoned and kids with disabilities, some of them have cerebral palsy.

According to Fr. Julio Cuesta Ortega, FDP (President and Executive Director of Cottolengo Filipino), they’re asking for support so they can cover Cotolengo’s kids needs such as medicine, food and helpers.  If I heard it right, they spend Php 4000 for each kid per month.  Furthermore, they’re private and non-profit religious organization so they depend on donations and don’t get assistance from  the government. Thus by joining Pa-Run ng Cowboy (Grill)  you will help them too.

The fun run will start 5am for 10k (fee is P650) runners, 5:30 for 5K (fee is P550) runners and 6am for 3K (fee is P450) runners. However the assembly time is 4am at CCP Complex.  What with their race kit?  Registration form, race bib and singlet.  You can register on the fun run’s date, but if you like to avoid long line and other hassles go to Cowboy Grill branches ( Mabini, Malate, Las Pinas, Delta Quezon Ave.) and Mizuno branches (Mall of Asia, Megamall, Trinoma, Bonifacio Global City, Alabang Town Center).   The registration for Mizuno and Cowboy will last till May 15 only.
