Rewards I Reap from my Social Media Detox

Habang sinusulat ko iyong post ko na What I realize in my Social Media Detox ay naalala ko rin ang mga  bagay na nagagawa ko dahil ginawa ko iyon. Siyempre ang automatic na benefit ay more time, focus, and energy  na marami pang hatid iba pang rewards.   Ito iyong sa akin, how about yours?

Invisibility is super power. Wala akong tampo at sa halip nga I have eureka moments. If people don’t know what you are doing, you have freedom and privacy to work on your endeavors without worrying external factors.

If our friends say something about our projects nakakaapekto lalo na kapag against sa ating idea. On the other hand,  iba rin if they give praises and positive expectations. Parang may pressure to prove your points and you become too emotional because of the feedback. Somehow it will affect how you handle whatever you do.

Ang punto ko rito ay how we will find balance and strength to be the best of who we really are if we only value the outside factors? It’s not that we don’t need people around us, strong support system is very important. So if you want freedom, privacy, silence, and other power be invisible! Unless may pino-promote tayong products at advocacy.

Focus and productivity – So while my wall have updates and notifications, I am creating and doing something else. Honestly, hindi ‘yan madali ah! I am doing my best to stay focused and productive, while doing my projects.  Pero ang pagpipigil kong mag-comment at mag-update ng status alone ay nakatulong to do valuable things for me gaya ng :

  • Make aspectos de hitokiriHOSHI become active, rank better, and get offers.
  • Finish my works faster so I can #galapamore and to #liwaliwpamore
  • Stay away from negative vibes – (please check my last post for details)
  • Breakaway from crazes na usually I’m prone to indulge
  • Nagagawa ko na mag-scrapbook at mag-crafting ulit!

To avoid competition trap. I also realize that being competitive doesn’t automatically mean you’re competent. In fact, allowing ourselves to be in competition traps will only give us nothing, but never-ending heartaches.  Check our competititors to see what else we can offer, our strengths, and weaknesses.  It should always be about improving ourselves naturally, hindi pilit at nakabase sa mas magaling ka dapat sa iba. Of course, a step to avoid to be competition is stay away from social media especially in your down moments. Read motivational blog posts and articles that we can relate and uplift our spirits.

To stick to what or how we know our friends.

Patalastas

May purpose and opportunities sa social media. Use social media for good causes/missions, and not to participate in cyberbullying, trolling, and bashing.  I also believe too much exposure in social networking sites and specifically sa activities na nabangit ay makakasama sa ating well-being.
